General English
General English classes are designed for students of all levels who wish to study English and make recognised progress in speaking, reading, writing, listening and grammar. We test all students on arrival to find the correct language level, with overall responsibility for student levels falling under the Academic Director.
ISE offers classes all year at different levels: students will be taught in either the ISE Brighton branch or ISE Hove branch according to their level, as assessed at time of enrolment by ISE staff.

4. Intermediate
5. Upper Intermediate
6. Advanced
For all classes at ISE there is a maximum class size of up 15 students.
For General English classes there is a minimum age of 16 for our adult classes and a minimum age of 8 for our Young ISE (children) classes.
